Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team at the Sumner location. This role involves managing a department focused on office supplies and promotional products. The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching, and motivation to meet team and individual sales targets while ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy across the sales and customer service departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide motivational and supportive leadership to empower the sales team.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business growth and financial targets utilizing market data analysis.
- Manage major customer accounts with considerable revenue opportunities.
- Utilize strong negotiation and creative selling techniques to close deals and negotiate contracts.
- Build and sustain relationships with critical internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies while achieving business objectives.
- Oversee daily sales operations and team activities.
- Promote customer loyalty by delivering engaging and inspiring customer experiences through your team.
- Organize team-building initiatives to recognize and value associate contributions.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in trade/wholesale sales within a B2B context is highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in a sales management position.
- Legal working rights in Australia.
- Highly motivated and eager to advance career.
- Driven, energetic, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses innovative problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive approach.
