Overview
ASB Bank is seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Managers of Risk - Business & Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking & Business Strategy, based in Auckland. This critical role ensures that these senior leaders and their teams function efficiently and effectively.
Key Duties
- Oversee complex scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks.
- Monitor and reply to emails proactively, draft written communication, and manage competing priorities.
- Arrange meetings, corporate functions, team events, and travel logistics.
- Prepare polished presentations, reports, data summaries, and documentation.
- Serve as a primary contact for both internal teams and external partners.
- Support operational and business process tasks, including accounts payable and personnel administration.
- Take detailed meeting minutes and coordinate follow-up steps.
- Foster strong relationships and identify process improvement opportunities to boost team efficiency.
Required Experience and Skills
- A minimum of five years’ experience in roles such as Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or other senior administrative positions.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
- Capability to effectively prioritise and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence and professionalism to maintain trusted relationships at all hierarchy levels.
- High levels of discretion, maturity, and confidentiality.
