Role overview
Helic & Co is hiring a Junior Human Resources Assistant for a remote, entry-level role based in the United States. The position is designed for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in HR. You will support the team with day-to-day administrative work, recruitment coordination, employee data handling, and internal HR communication.
What you will do
- Support hiring activities by publishing vacancies, reviewing resumes, and arranging interview schedules.
- Keep employee information current in HR files and databases.
- Assist with welcoming new hires and carrying out orientation tasks.
- Draft HR paperwork such as offer or employment letters, contracts, and routine reports.
- Handle basic employee questions about policies, procedures, and HR processes.
- Coordinate support for payroll-related work and employee benefits administration.
- Help plan engagement initiatives and training activities for employees.
- Follow company rules as well as applicable labor and compliance requirements.
What we are looking for
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Between 0 and 2 years of experience in HR or administrative work; internships are considered relevant.
- Fundamental understanding of HR concepts and standard practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good organization skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal ability.
- A professional, discreet, and confidential approach to sensitive information.
Preferred strengths
- Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Care and precision when working with employee data.
- Comfort with handling multiple priorities in a busy environment.
