Role overview
ALBAIK Food Systems Co. is hiring a seasoned Food Quality Control professional to safeguard food safety, product quality, and compliance across quick-service restaurant operations in Jeddah. This position is centered on auditing restaurant sites, guiding operational teams, and strengthening adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Provide hands-on training, coaching, and day-to-day support to restaurant teams on food safety systems, quality expectations, and operating procedures.
- Perform recurring food safety and quality audits at restaurant outlets.
- Track adherence to company standards as well as applicable food safety regulations.
- Set up, maintain, and improve Food Safety Management Systems while contributing to ongoing improvement efforts.
- Create, update, and preserve SOPs, work instructions, and food safety records and documentation.
- Observe product quality at every stage, including receiving, storage, preparation, and service.
- Carry out food safety risk assessments for biological, chemical, and physical hazards.
- Handle customer complaints and food safety incidents, ensuring proper investigation, closure, and follow-up.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Nutrition, Biology, Food Science, or another closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in the quick-service restaurant industry.
- HACCP certification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of food safety laws, quality management systems, and audit methods.
- Demonstrated experience conducting on-site audits across multiple restaurant locations.
- Background in restaurant operations with the ability to coach and train front-line teams.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
