About the Role
McNab seeks trade-qualified carpenters who value high-quality workmanship and desire steady, ongoing employment. Based in Toowoomba, Queensland, you will engage in various commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects across the local region. You will join a professional team committed to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform steel and timber framing tasks.
- Execute formwork and concreting for slabs, footings, and walls.
- Install cladding, flooring, and other structural components.
- Participate in commercial and residential fit-outs.
- Handle maintenance and defect repairs.
- Use steel, concrete, and timber materials skillfully.
- Interpret construction plans and drawings effectively.
- Operate tools and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Adhere to all site safety standards and procedures.
- Collaborate within a team and adapt to varying site conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Trade qualification in Carpentry.
- Construction White Card or ability to obtain one.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel across Toowoomba and South East Queensland.
- Prior experience in carpentry; formwork expertise is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong emphasis on safety, attention to detail, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated with a commitment to career advancement.
