Groundworker

About The Role

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Groundworker to contribute to various commercial, industrial, and civil engineering projects throughout Central Scotland. The individual will perform a wide range of groundwork tasks, ensuring all assignments are completed safely, effectively, and with high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Excavating and preparing construction sites.
• Installing and maintaining drainage systems including pipes, gullies, and manholes.
• Handling kerbing, paving, slabbing, and block paving jobs.
• Performing concrete work such as foundations, slabs, and reinforced structures.
• Executing trenching, ducting, and backfilling activities.
• Preparing ground surfaces for surfacing and tarmac.
• Operating small machinery and plant equipment when properly qualified.
• Following all Health & Safety standards and site regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in groundworks or civil engineering roles.
• CSCS Card is mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of drainage, foundation, and paving techniques.
• A full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
• Ability to interpret site drawings and specifications.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety protocols.

Additional Information
