Focused on combating kidney disease and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), the organization operates modern renal centers equipped with advanced technology, supported by a proficient multidisciplinary team including specialist doctors and healthcare professionals.
Role Summary
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Dialysis Technician based in Bhubaneswar. The role involves setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, ensuring equipment functionality and safety before and during dialysis sessions. The technician will monitor patient vital signs, document treatment records accurately, and observe patients for adverse reactions or clinical changes. Responsibilities also include assisting in pre- and post-dialysis procedures, maintaining strict infection control, and keeping the dialysis unit clean and prepared. Collaboration with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members is vital to deliver consistent kidney care and foster patient education on treatment and self-care.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in dialysis and hemodialysis procedures, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
- Strong patient care abilities with competent monitoring of vital signs and timely recognition of clinical changes.
- Foundational medical knowledge pertinent to renal care and dialysis protocols.
- Certification or diploma in Dialysis Technology or renal technology from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in dialysis centers, hospitals, or similar clinical environments is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail, compliance with infection control and safety protocols, and accurate documentation capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts and maintain professionalism in stressful clinical conditions.
