We are seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Technician with Certificate of Fitness A (COF A) authority to join a leading automotive business based in East Tamaki, Auckland. This role is suited for someone who values stable Monday to Friday working hours and enjoys a varied workload within a busy workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Certificate of Fitness A inspections across a fleet of light commercial and rental vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve any faults related to vehicle compliance.
• Conduct general servicing, maintenance, and necessary repairs on vehicles.
• Execute vehicle safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain precise records of inspections and workshop activities.
• Ensure all work adheres strictly to NZTA compliance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Certified Automotive Technician with valid COF A authority.
• Warrant of Fitness (WOF) authority is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Well-versed in NZ Transport Agency regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work efficiently while upholding high-quality workmanship.
• Strong diagnostics and mechanical abilities.
• Holds a current, clean driver’s licence.
