Business Development Executive - Tamil Nadu

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to lead retail growth initiatives across Tamil Nadu. This role focuses on identifying promising new store locations, performing detailed market and competitor analyses, negotiating lease agreements, and collaborating with multiple internal teams to ensure smooth retail launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential sites for new retail stores based on strategic business goals, market dynamics, and competitive environment.
• Engage and negotiate with property owners, real estate agents, and landlords to finalize commercial terms and secure appropriate retail premises.
• Conduct detailed catchment area studies, analyze footfall data, and perform market research to support location recommendations aligned with expansion plans.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Projects, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Store Operations to facilitate timely and successful store openings.
• Manage all relevant property documents, approvals, and MIS reporting, ensuring coordination amongst all stakeholders throughout the expansion lifecycle.
• Track store launch progress against set timelines, prepare status updates, and ensure all milestones of the expansion plan are met efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, retail expansion, site acquisition, new store launches, or commercial leasing roles.
• Prior work experience in sectors such as Retail, Beauty & Cosmetics, FMCG, Fashion, Lifestyle, or Quick Service Restaurants is advantageous.
