- Ensure efficient, seamless movement of products across the network while maintaining high service standards.
- Lead logistics cost management with the aim to achieve industry-leading cost benchmarks through strategic route planning, maximizing vehicle usage, and effective dispatch scheduling.
- Develop and refine data-driven financial models to continually optimize costs on a per-unit basis.
- Redesign logistics procedures to boost speed, dependability, and scalability, incorporating automation and data-based decision processes.
- Manage large-scale logistics partners, including regional transportation providers, through negotiations, performance monitoring, and enforcing service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate across departments such as supply planning, sales, warehouse operations, and finance to synchronize demand, supply, and execution effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators like cost per unit, on-time in-full delivery (OTIF), and transit turn-around times, promoting accountability among teams and external partners.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 4 and 8 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end logistics processes.
- Demonstrated success in cost-reduction initiatives and enhancing process efficiencies.
- Familiarity with managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and operating within multi-node distribution networks.
- Strong analytical capabilities matched with excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from a reputed Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.
- An engineering degree is considered advantageous.
Personal Attributes
