Job Overview
This role involves managing retail and stockist relations to boost sales of cement products within the assigned territory in Salem, Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a minimum of 2 stockists, each supervising 20 to 30 retailers.
- Appoint and onboard retailers within the designated area to expand market presence.
- Conduct detailed market scans by visiting all retail counters citywide.
- Drive secondary sales growth through active retailer engagement.
- Identify new business opportunities by visiting construction sites, including cottages, houses, and individual home builders.
- Coordinate closely with contractors and masons to increase product usage.
- Generate sales directly from the construction sites linked to retailers.
- Facilitate product sampling and live demonstrations at construction locations.
- Organize in-store meetings and promotional activities to stimulate retailer sales.
- Effectively communicate promotional schemes to contractors and masons.
- Ensure continuous follow-up with stockists and retailers to maintain a smooth and efficient supply chain.
