About the Role
We are collaborating with a prominent insurance technology company to recruit seasoned Auto Appraiser - Claims professionals for a fully remote position within the United States (excluding candidates from New York and California). This role is tailored for individuals proficient in auto damage assessment who thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at negotiating repair estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews and negotiations of auto repair estimates and supplements with collision repair shops.
- Efficiently manage a demanding workload, processing approximately 50 claims per week.
- Create precise repair estimates utilizing CCC One software and other appraisal tools.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies through well-founded technical judgments.
- Ensure detailed and accurate documentation of claims while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in managing auto physical damage claims or preparing auto repair estimates.
- Comprehensive understanding of auto property claims and direct repair programs.
- Proficient use of CCC One and similar auto appraisal technologies.
- Experience gained from working with insurance carriers, independent appraisers, or collision repair facilities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume and fast-paced work setting.
