Credit Analyst

About the Role

We are urgently looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Borivali, Mumbai. This role requires a solid grasp of financial documents such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and key Financial Ratios. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting home loans for both salaried and self-employed applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze clients' financial status and creditworthiness through detailed research and evaluation.
• Underwrite home loan applications from salaried and self-employed individuals ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct virtual discussions with clients to collect information and clarify details.
• Maintain turnaround time for delivering sanction letters and overseeing loan disbursement processes.
• Utilize credit scoring models to assess risk factors and predict credit defaults.
• Negotiate terms effectively while ensuring loan procedures align with regulatory requirements.
• Allocate applications appropriately to banks based on client credit profiles.
• Manage the full credit application cycle, from initial login to final disbursement.
• Be open to traveling as required to fulfill job duties.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Must have graduated from any stream.
• Previous banking sector experience is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
