Core Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to resolve and improve quality issues linked to supplier safety, quality standards, and site MQI closure performance by managing 8D problem-solving processes collaboratively with suppliers and modules.
  • Drive manufacturing availability by partnering with factory modules to tackle limiting toolset issues, define problems, create roadmaps, and engage or escalate concerns with suppliers.

Additional Duties

  • Contribute to long-term product planning by establishing next-generation methodologies supporting Intel's supply chain roadmap and researching emerging technologies.
  • Identify discrepancies between roadmap strategies, manufacturing capacities, and market demands, proposing solutions to bridge those gaps.
  • Analyze supply and demand trends, perform root cause analyses, and work with supply chain teams to implement improvements.
  • Lead supplier selections for new business alongside commodity managers, developing product and purchase specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Mitigate risks through alternative sourcing for single-sourced commodities.
  • Set control standards, track KPIs, monitor supply chain performance, and lead root cause investigations for issues to devise resolutions.
  • Oversee supplier validation activities for critical processes throughout development stages.
  • Enhance supplier quality, reliability, yield, and cost effectiveness while maintaining consistent quality standards and specifications.
  • Manage quality excursions and conduct failure mode analyses with suppliers.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • A Level 8 or Honors Bachelor’s degree from the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain disciplines.
