Service Technician

Overview

Culligan Ireland is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join their team as a full-time permanent role, subject to a 6-month probation period. This position is field-based across multiple locations including Galway, Sligo, Kilkenny, Athlone, Wicklow, and Dublin. Culligan Home specializes in delivering superior water treatment solutions such as filtration systems, reverse osmosis units, and water softeners to residential customers throughout Ireland. The technician will be essential in installing, maintaining, and repairing these systems to ensure customers receive cleaner, safer drinking water.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of water treatment equipment including filtration, softening, and purification systems.
• Perform diagnostic tests and inspections aimed at identifying and resolving system faults and inefficiencies.
• Provide customers with technical advice on proper operation and upkeep of water treatment devices.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep detailed records of services performed and materials utilized during procedures.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to schedule and coordinate installation and maintenance activities.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by staying informed on industry developments.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an engineer or plumber, ideally with water treatment systems.
• Possession of a valid plumbing or engineering certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with water treatment technologies is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues effectively.
• Capability to operate independently while managing time efficiently.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality work outputs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact well with customers and team members.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of €40,000 paid monthly.
