About the Company and Role
Culligan Ireland specializes in delivering superior water treatment solutions across residential markets in Ireland, providing products such as filtration systems, reverse osmosis units, and water softeners to promote safer and better-tasting water. They are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician (Engineer/Plumber) to join their field-based teams covering locations including Galway, Sligo, Kilkenny, Athlone, Wicklow, and Dublin. This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of various water treatment equipment such as filtration, softening, and purification systems.
- Execute diagnostic tests and thorough inspections to detect and rectify any system malfunctions.
- Offer expert technical advice and support to customers on the use and upkeep of water treatment solutions.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and organizational policies.
- Keep detailed records of all completed work and materials utilized.
- Work in conjunction with other teams to arrange and schedule installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Continuously update technical knowledge through industry advancements and training opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated work experience as an Engineer or Plumber, preferably within water treatment.
- Possession of valid plumbing and/or engineering certification or substantial relevant experience.
- Technical understanding of water treatment technology is favorable; however, full training will be provided.
- Strong skills in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to independently manage tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Compensation and Location
This role offers a salary of €40,000 per year, paid monthly, supplemented by an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000. The position is field-based with multiple location assignments across Galway, Sligo, Kilkenny, Athlone, Wicklow, and Dublin in Ireland.
