Senior Design/Site Architect

About the Role

X Architects is looking for an experienced Senior Design Architect to strengthen its team in Riyadh. This is a hands-on architectural position focused on both design leadership and on-site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design workflow across multiple projects, making sure each concept matches client objectives and project needs.
• Work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to shape practical and creative design outcomes.
• Visit project sites to evaluate feasibility and confirm that work aligns with approved design details.
• Guide and support junior architects and other design team members while encouraging a high standard of innovation and quality.
• Develop and deliver design presentations and project records for clients and other key stakeholders.
• Keep current with developments in architecture, including new materials, tools, and technologies that can improve design decisions.
• Track and manage schedules, budgets, and project resources efficiently.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required; a master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in architectural design, particularly with substantial site-related exposure.
• A demonstrated history of guiding projects from concept design through execution.
• Strong working knowledge of architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-driven setting.
• Good understanding of building regulations, code compliance, and sustainable design methods.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
