About the Role
You will lead and inspire security officers to ensure effective security coverage and consistent high performance across multiple residential villa compounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform frequent site inspections to ensure security standards are met, monitor guard activities, and check adherence to company procedures.
- Develop and oversee duty schedules, shift plans, and the allocation of manpower resources.
- Ensure proper execution of access control protocols for residents, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
- Quickly respond to emergencies, security breaches, alarms, and complaints from residents.
- Investigate incidents thoroughly and draft comprehensive reports with suggested corrective measures.
- Liaise with facility management, maintenance teams, and emergency responders as necessary.
- Supervise the operation and upkeep of CCTV, access control, and other security equipment.
- Conduct regular security meetings, toolbox talks, and on-the-job training sessions for security staff.
- Guarantee compliance of all security personnel with health, safety, and security standards.
- Identify security risks by performing risk assessments within assigned areas.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, attendance, and patrol logs.
- Provide outstanding customer service while ensuring the safety of residents.
- Assist with audits and inspections by clients or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 6 years of security operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in the Facilities Management sector.
- Practical experience managing security for large-scale residential villa communities or mass villa projects.
- Preference for those who have supervised multiple security teams at varied locations.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of security procedures, including access control, emergency response, and incident handling.
- Competence in report writing and documentation maintenance.
- Understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and effectively handle emergencies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security reporting tools.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and be available for on-call duties.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Security Supervisor license or equivalent certification.
- Certification in First Aid and Fire Safety is advantageous.
- Experience in gated residential communities, villa compounds, or large mixed-use developments is highly desirable.
