Role Overview
We are inviting applicants for the Rostering Clerk position to join our Sydney Passenger Services Operations team. This role collaborates closely with the Passenger Service Department to ensure accurate manpower allocation for shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze aircraft loads and create rosters or worksheets in line with airline Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Process and manage annual leave requests efficiently.
- Assign roster patterns and develop new patterns aligned with Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) regulations.
- Update and act on all shift schedule changes promptly.
- Prepare precise worksheets for Shift Duty Supervisors (SDS) to utilize during operations.
- Engage in training and adapt to new systems introduced within the organization.
- Proactively coordinate staff allocation for training purposes.
- Maintain confidentiality of staff and business information.
- Manage dedicated budgets and generate detailed analytical reports.
- Ensure compliance with EBA, labor laws, and relevant government regulations.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to uphold compliance and budget targets.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong self-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and adapt to dynamic situations.
- Strong alignment with dnata’s business goals and ethical principles.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrable experience in rostering tasks.
- Deep understanding of business operations including SLAs and Enterprise Agreements interpretation.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proactive approach with effective prioritization skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a small team setting.
- Highly efficient time management skills.
- Capacity to work independently while adhering to procedures.
