Role Summary
The Restaurant Manager position is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing all restaurant activities at Central Inn Souq Waqif Hotel. Key duties include managing daily dining and bar operations, supervising staff, ensuring top-tier food and beverage service standards, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through effective service and guest feedback management.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize staff schedules and lead team briefings before service periods.
- Supervise both front-of-house and bar operations to uphold service excellence.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate seamless service delivery.
- Manage inventory control, ordering processes, cash handling, and POS operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach restaurant personnel to maintain a skilled team.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive restaurant revenue.
- Analyze performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to professionally manage guest feedback.
- Experienced in hiring processes including interviewing, training, and team coaching within restaurant settings.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests, kitchen teams, and staff.
- Good understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu knowledge and basic food safety practices.
- Proven background in restaurant or hotel food and beverage management, ideally with prior supervisory or managerial roles.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Competency with basic computer applications and POS systems; inventory and ordering management experience is a plus.
- Educational qualifications in Hospitality Management or related disciplines preferred.
- Leadership aptitude and problem-solving capability within diverse cultural environments.
