Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Hostess to join our team on-site at the hotel. This role encompasses greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, answering calls professionally, disseminating accurate menu and promotion details, coordinating with the service teams to maintain optimal table turnover, and ensuring a tidy hostess station. The Hostess will promptly and courteously address guest requests and uphold the hotel's high standards of appearance and safety, contributing positively to a harmonious team atmosphere.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to engage effectively with a diverse clientele and team members.
• Excellent communication and telephone etiquette for managing guest conversations and inquiries.
• Experience handling reservations, including knowledge of reservation software and seating organization.
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and adaptability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and familiarity with point-of-sale tools preferred; hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; command of additional languages common in Doha is a plus.
