About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of advanced projects in Smart Cities, Smart Ports, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Operational Technology (OT), and Digital Infrastructure sectors. This is a full-time onsite position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, commission, and hand over projects to ensure successful completion.
- Engage and coordinate effectively with clients, government entities, consultants, contractors, and technology suppliers.
- Manage project timelines, risk assessments, budgets, change control processes, and communication with all stakeholders.
- Handle contract administration including FIDIC contracts, procurement procedures, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise system integration, testing processes, and implementation stages.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer, ICT, Civil, Marine) or Information Technology.
- Between 5 to 8 years of experience managing delivery of Smart Solutions, including Smart Cities, Smart Ports, ITS, ICT, OT, or digital infrastructure projects.
- Experience working within the UAE, particularly with government bodies, ports, airports, or large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous.
Technical Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with IoT platforms, SCADA systems, CCTV, and Access Control technologies.
- Familiarity with AI and Video Analytics, GIS systems, and Digital Twin applications.
- Expertise in ICT networks, including fiber optic and wireless communications.
- Understanding of Integrated Command & Control Systems and OT/IT convergence.
- Preferred exposure to Port Community Systems (PCS), Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), Customs/Immigration integration, and Intelligent Surveillance systems.
Software Proficiency
- Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
- Microsoft Project for comprehensive project planning.
- BIM and other project reporting tools for progress monitoring.
