Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Designer to join the Creator Success team based in San Francisco or New York with a hybrid schedule requiring two in-office days weekly. This role focuses on designing and refining the core tools and touchpoints that facilitate creators in publishing their work, engaging fans, and growing their audiences effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify and clarify company-wide design opportunities through detailed, high-fidelity prototypes and communicate design decisions to senior stakeholders and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to plan and implement comprehensive design solutions.
• Engage with the design team across the organization to develop innovative, reusable design systems and patterns ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Create and iterate on prototypes, visuals, and key user flows to enhance user engagement.
• Participate in the visioning and phased overhaul of the core Patreon product, taking ownership of critical product components.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in end-to-end product design demonstrated through a portfolio showing problem framing, execution, and measurable impact on users or business.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders without compromising work quality or timelines.
• Strong application of design thinking methodologies focused on user-centered results.
• High standards for visual and interaction design with the ability to justify design choices beyond intuition.
• Comfortable working and moving quickly in situations with incomplete information from insight gathering through execution.
