About the Company and Role
ProcureNet, part of Alturki Holding, operates in the Supply Chain sector and is seeking to fill a Procurement Officer position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role falls under the Operations department and supports the company’s commercial and operational goals through efficient procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out sourcing processes, including Requests for Quotations, evaluations, and establishing framework agreements.
- Perform comprehensive technical and commercial assessments of supplier proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within authorized limits to secure favorable agreements.
- Assist in category planning using spend data analysis and market intelligence.
- Identify opportunities to lower costs and consolidate suppliers for improved efficiency.
- Oversee supplier relationships, ensuring performance aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with established policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in procurement roles.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficient negotiation skills.
- Experience using enterprise resource planning systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
- Possession of professional procurement certifications such as CIPS is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
