Role Overview

The Pet Injection Moulding Operator will operate and supervise PET injection moulding machines tasked with manufacturing preforms and other components essential to bottled water production. Daily responsibilities include configuring and fine-tuning machines, feeding raw materials, troubleshooting basic issues, and ensuring output consistently meets specifications. The position requires performing visual and dimensional inspections, recording production metrics, and working jointly with quality assurance and maintenance personnel to resolve problems efficiently. Maintaining safety protocols, cleanliness, and hygiene in workspaces—often within controlled cleanroom settings—is fundamental. This position is full-time and based onsite in Abuja.

Requirements

• Competence in operating PET injection moulding or comparable manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control techniques such as visual inspections, dimensional checks, and production documentation.
• Experience working under cleanroom or similarly controlled environments adhering to health and safety criteria.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively between production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform first-level equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere closely to technical guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing, injection moulding, or beverage packaging is preferred.
• Capability to work shifts, remain standing for long durations, and manage repetitive task safely.
• Relevant vocational or technical training in mechanical, production, or industrial disciplines is advantageous.
