Role Overview
The successful candidate will join Cogent Tank Depot Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Cogent Holdings, as an Operations Executive responsible for supporting and ensuring the smooth running of tank depot operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in daily operational tasks and maintain seamless tank depot workflow.
- Ensure operations staff complete assigned duties to the required standards.
- Manage daily customer mail correspondence efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve daily operations, report enhancements to the Manager, and implement productivity initiatives.
- Report any operational irregularities, non-compliance issues, accidents, or customer feedback promptly to management.
- Ensure availability of equipment and compliance with operational procedures for effective functioning.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by meeting their requirements and building confidence.
- Monitor team performance and resolve issues related to response times, movement logistics, and daily inventory.
- Participate in operations meetings with shipping agents or clients to plan and implement operational activities.
- Track fixed assets and maintain tank depot facilities in optimal condition.
- Supervise task accuracy and prioritize the workload of the office team.
- Recognize safety hazards in the operational areas and take proactive measures to eliminate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two years' experience in operations and supervisory roles, preferably within logistics.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain focus on goals.
- Willingness to work at Jurong Island location.
