About the Role
This position seeks a seasoned professional to lead and consult on upstream oil and gas operations including exploration, drilling, production, and asset management. The role involves strategic engagement with senior stakeholders, leadership of transformation initiatives, and driving innovation through digital technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain trusted relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders, providing advisory services on upstream operational and strategic matters.
- Lead multi-location, cross-functional programs for upstream transformation ensuring timely, quality, and budget-compliant delivery.
- Conduct market and industry analysis to identify trends, regulatory impacts, and advancements to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement frameworks to optimize costs while maintaining safety and production standards.
- Champion digital adoption including data analytics, AI, IoT, and automation collaborating with technology teams on domain-specific implementations.
- Mentor junior consultants and engineers, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Communicate strategies and project progress through executive dashboards, reports, and presentations to leadership.

Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, or Business Administration; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- Relevant certifications including PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, NEBOSH/IOSH, API certifications such as API 510/570/653.
- Membership or certifications from SPE; Well Control Certification (IWCF/IADC).
- Preferred certifications in Digital Systems like SAP Oil & Gas, Petrel/Schlumberger tools, Data Analytics/AI (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and SCADA/PI training.
