Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Appointment Scheduler to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating and managing schedules for caregivers and clients to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across all parties.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Wednesday: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM CST
- Thursday and Friday: Off
- Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Primary Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee caregiver and client appointments and schedules.
- Manage schedule modifications including cancellations, urgent coverage needs, and call-outs.
- Deliver timely and professional communication regarding any scheduling changes.
- Maintain precise records using scheduling software systems.
- Regularly monitor coverage to identify and resolve schedule conflicts and gaps proactively.
- Contribute to maintaining operational efficiency through diligent schedule management.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling medical appointments, healthcare services, homecare services, or caregiver scheduling environments.
- Background working in healthcare or homecare sectors or related care scheduling roles.
- Advanced English language skills at C1 level.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving.
- Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WellSky scheduling or similar workforce management tools.
- Proven ability managing scheduling functions with high volume demands.
