Role Overview
The Asia Pacific Market Development team is seeking a Manager to drive the execution of critical transformation projects in the region. This position collaborates closely with senior leadership, country teams, and cross-functional partners to analyze business challenges, coordinate complex projects, create impactful materials, and monitor progress toward strategic and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate market opportunities and challenges by collecting data, conducting analysis, identifying core issues, and summarizing findings for informed decision-making.
- Manage project timelines, key milestones, meeting schedules, stakeholder engagement, and issue tracking across multiple transformation initiatives.
- Develop clear and succinct documents such as market diagnostics, project status reports, business case elements, leadership presentations, and execution tracking tools.
- Engage with country, product, commercial, finance, legal, and delivery teams to clarify requirements, assign ownership, and facilitate action execution.
- Monitor progress against expected outcomes, manage risks and dependencies, and escalate any concerns or opportunities to leadership promptly.
- Support the creation of standardized tools, templates, playbooks, and knowledge resources to enhance the efficiency of the Regional Market Transformation function.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of integrating information from diverse sources into concise insights and action plans.
- Possesses sound business understanding and interest in payments, commercial strategy, market development, and transformation delivery.
- Highly organized and detail-conscious, adept at managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders in a complex regional setting.
- Effective communicator with confidence in writing, presenting, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Experienced in working across various cultures, markets, and functional areas, building trust and delivering on commitments.
- Exhibits curiosity, ownership, resilience, and a proactive learning approach when faced with ambiguity and undefined solutions.
