Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, complex event-driven or reactive systems that manage fault tolerance and globally distributed processes, supporting high-frequency message and event workflows.
• Utilize strong Java expertise to build high-performance systems focused on concurrency and network protocols, employing solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Develop ultra-low latency or high throughput applications within financial markets or big data analytics environments.
• Commit to delivering high-quality solutions through Agile methodologies and test-driven development practices.
• Apply knowledge of CPU/GPU architectures, memory management techniques including shared memory and memory-mapped files, and networking protocols such as TCP and UDP, alongside a good grasp of Linux internals.
• If experienced in Java, leverage skills in Garbage Collection tuning, JNI, Java Unsafe, and JNR-FFI for system optimization.
• Exposure to Aeron messaging system is desirable.
• Use scripting languages like Python, Kotlin, or Shell scripts for tooling and automation purposes.
• Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, tackle challenges, and collaborate effectively to manage complex business solutions.
• Possess a minimum of one degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
