Role Overview

Join a team focused on maintaining and enhancing a global network infrastructure through a centralized platform managing thousands of external partners including ISPs, colocation facilities, hardware vendors, and managed service providers. This role balances onsite presence in Dublin D04 and remote work.

  • Establish automated alerts for outdated data, missing elements, and expiring service agreements.
  • Construct ETL data pipelines to synchronize partner information across several internal platforms.
  • Automate legacy data migration from spreadsheets, wikis, and isolated databases into the new platform.
  • Design reconciliation scripts to identify inconsistencies and maintain data integrity across systems.
  • Develop tools to automatically fetch partner contacts during network incidents for faster response.
  • Create escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network events.
  • Automate runbook procedures to optimize repetitive tasks.
  • Build dashboards monitoring data quality, platform usage, and data freshness.
  • Deploy automatic health checks and audits for duplicates, orphan records, and incomplete data.
  • Generate regular management reports detailing automation outcomes and data health.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOps roles.
  • Strong Python skills including scripting, API integration, and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Proficient with SQL and concepts related to data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with job scheduling and orchestration tools such as Airflow or cron.
  • Knowledge of data quality assurance principles including validation, deduplication, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to handle large datasets involving multiple source systems.
  • Strong independent problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with PHP or Hack server-side scripting.
  • Familiarity with graph databases or entity relationship management systems.
  • Background working with CRM, Master Data Management, or vendor management solutions.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure concepts including ISPs, peering, colocation, and Points of Presence.
  • Experience with Thrift or similar RPC frameworks.
  • Telecom, network operations, or infrastructure services experience.
  • Automation experience in large enterprise environments.

  • Scripting & Automation: Python, PHP/Hack, Bash
  • APIs: GraphQL, REST, Thrift (RPC)
