About the Role
American Worldwide Logistics is seeking an experienced Freight Broker or Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Mohali, Punjab. This role involves handling freight shipments across the United States, maintaining relationships, and ensuring high performance in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee freight transportation throughout the U.S.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with carriers and customers.
- Conduct freight rate negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor shipment progress to guarantee punctual delivery.
- Address and resolve service-related issues while providing excellent customer service.
- Consistently achieve and surpass weekly and monthly gross profit objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience ranging from six months up to three years in U.S. freight brokerage.
- Strong communication abilities paired with effective negotiation skills.
- Capability to perform well in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment.
- Excellent aptitude for problem-solving and relationship management.
- Familiarity with load boards and transport management systems is advantageous.
