About the Role
Join WorkCon as a Labour Allocator based in Salisbury, Queensland, responsible for coordinating workers across client sites efficiently in a dynamic labour hire environment.
Key Duties
- Assign field workers to appropriate shifts and locations.
- Organize and manage daily and weekly rosters.
- Confirm worker availability and communicate pertinent shift information.
- Handle cancellations, absences, and last-minute scheduling changes promptly.
- Resolve conflicting demands and operational challenges effectively.
- Verify that workers possess up-to-date licences, tickets, inductions, and PPE.
- Monitor clock-in/out data to aid precise payroll processing.
- Maintain detailed records of employee allocations and related documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation outside normal business hours for urgent issues.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in traffic control, labour roles, or construction is preferred.
- Outgoing and self-assured with solid communication skills and comfort using the phone and visiting sites as needed.
- Eager to develop a career in labour hire operations.
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to shifting priorities and conversations.
- Possesses a calm, solution-oriented approach under pressure or conflict.
- Highly organized, dependable, and responsive.
- Able to comply with instructions, processes, and regulatory standards.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Willing to support operational emergencies outside standard hours through a shared on-call roster.
