Junior Compliance Officer

Role Summary

The Junior Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring adherence to both internal and external regulatory requirements for the Adjarabet group company under Flutter Central & Eastern Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's regulatory compliance processes diligently.
• Evaluate company activities and documentation against relevant regulations, providing detailed guidance, recommendations, and memos accordingly.
• Develop, revise, and maintain company policies and procedures to ensure compliance alignment.
• Coordinate adherence to group-wide policies across the business units.
• Conduct thorough regulatory research to stay current with applicable laws.
• Advise team members on compliance issues and concerns.
• Design and deliver periodic compliance training sessions for staff.
• Monitor compliance activities continuously and report findings to management periodically or as requested.
• Participate in the launch processes for new products ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Draft and review terms and conditions related to company services, managing regulatory approvals as necessary.
• Handle application processes for obtaining or renewing necessary licenses, certificates, and permits.
• Draft and review compliance-related correspondence, including responses to customer complaints.
• Examine agreements signed on behalf of the company, providing regulatory perspectives and drafting pertinent clauses.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer or Compliance Director.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law is required.
• Prior experience of at least one year in compliance, legal, regulatory, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities, research skills, organizational capabilities, and problem-solving aptitude are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Capacity to manage sensitive information with utmost professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
