Position Overview
Geberit is a global industrial company passionate about creating opportunities, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, and fostering a collaborative environment. Join our IT Service Center team based in Pfullendorf as an IT Support Engineer providing first-level service.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle IT hotline requests via phone in both German and English and maintain detailed documentation.
- Deliver first-level support by responding to incident reports and service requests received through phone calls, emails, or ticket systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems remotely or directly at employees' workstations and install new hardware and software components.
- Assist staff in effectively using applications during daily operations.
- Identify areas for process and environment improvements and actively participate in ongoing enhancements.
- Execute minor projects within the service desk such as evaluations, rollouts, and standardizations.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or a similar technical qualification with continued education in the IT field.
- Strong dedication to service with a passion for providing excellent customer support.
- Fluent German and English communication skills, both spoken and written.
