About the Role

The Intake Coordinator is essential to delivering a welcoming, efficient onboarding experience for new patients. This role involves completing patient intakes, collecting detailed medical histories, clearly explaining program details with compassion, and managing all documentation accurately and professionally. Support for administrative workflows and chart preparation for Mend Physician Services patients is also part of the position, along with assisting Clinical Care Navigators with operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative duties and chart preparation for Mend Physician Services patients.

  • Collaborate effectively with clinical and enrollment teams for smooth patient onboarding.
  • Provide administrative support such as reviewing patient responses and sending communications for clinical care navigators.

  • Maintain adaptability to shifting priorities based on patient and team needs.
  • Comply with HIPAA and organizational policies consistently.

Required Qualifications

  • National certification as a Medical Assistant (MA).
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued but not mandatory.
  • At least two years of experience in healthcare or patient intake, preferably in remote or hybrid settings.
