About the Role
Versende Ltd is partnering with a well-established adult education organization based in central London to source a Human Resources Administrator. This value-centered organization aims to foster community and enrich lives through education. The HR team is tightly knit, with a dynamic work environment where variety is the norm and every day offers new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle essential HR administration activities to ensure smooth operation of HR functions.
- Manage payroll activities accurately and within designated deadlines.
- Process employee onboarding and exit procedures on the HR system maintaining current and precise records.
- Serve as the initial contact point for payroll-related inquiries and collaborate with the Finance Payroll team.
- Monitor and respond to emails in the HR inbox, escalating recurring issues appropriately.
- Coordinate interview arrangements and prepare all documentation related to recruitment.
- Update recruitment systems and maintain trackers diligently.
- Oversee the external talent pool and provide weekly updates on active recruitment campaigns.
- Assist the HR team with job postings and actively report on the success of recruitment initiatives.
- Administer pre-employment screenings via an online platform while conducting Right to Work checks and keeping informed of immigration legislation.
- Organize employee induction sessions, distribute e-learning material, monitor completion rates, and support face-to-face inductions.
- Contribute to the improvement of onboarding practices.
- Prepare official documents such as probation reviews, resignation acceptances, and reference letters.
- Take notes during formal meetings.
- Manage invoice processing and tracking.
- Support benefits administration including schemes like cycle to work.
Candidate Profile
- Approximately two years of administrative experience, preferably with exposure to HR activities.
- HR background is an advantage but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-driven, well-organized, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a habit of proactively providing updates.
- Able to manage a busy workload with frequently shifting priorities.
- Trustworthy in handling confidential information.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary of A329,000 per annum.
