Role Overview
The Housing Coordinator is tasked with managing the daily operations of YMCA Community Housing. This includes overseeing tenancy management, engaging with tenants, coordinating property and asset maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, managing reporting and financial tasks, and supporting sustainable housing tenancies. The position offers hands-on leadership to the housing team and collaborates closely with the Regional Lead and General Manager to guarantee safe, consistent delivery of housing services that align with organizational values, relevant legislation, and funding requirements.
Operational Focus
This role centers on practical day-to-day operational management of the community housing program. Responsibilities such as strategic planning, sector representation, initiatives for growth, governance complexities, and high-level budgeting are addressed with guidance from senior leadership.
