About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers to join their team in Houghton, England. This position offers a competitive hourly pay and excellent staff benefits. You will play a crucial role in representing the company by delivering groceries directly to customers' homes while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow proper van loading protocols to ensure safe handling of goods including heavy lifting
• Abide by safe driving regulations and practices at all times
• Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and during shifts
• Deliver food products ensuring they reach customers in optimal condition
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service during deliveries
• Assist with in-store duties when needed to support the wider team
• Work autonomously and manage your schedule effectively
• Flexibility to work varying shifts between early morning (6am) and late evening (11pm)

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a valid full driving license for at least three years with no more than six penalty points
• Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines
• Strong commitment to road safety awareness
