Job Overview

We are inviting dedicated groomers to join our team at Pet Valu's grooming salons. This role offers flexible part-time to full-time opportunities where you can express your creativity in pet grooming while enjoying financial stability free from high-pressure conveyor-belt settings. Our aim is to provide personalized, top-tier grooming services to pet owners, empowering groomers to manage their own salon space backed by the reliability of the Pet Valu brand.

What You Will Do

• Provide expert grooming services including bathing, drying, cutting, hand scissoring, medicated and general cleansing, as well as parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips, and ear cleaning tailored to each pet.
• Apply professional grooming techniques adapted for different dog breeds and, in some locations, cats.
• Customize grooming approaches depending on the pet’s hair type, coat, breed, and owner preferences.
• Build and expand a loyal client base using your entrepreneurial spirit.
• Maintain focus on customer satisfaction and flexibility within salon operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least one year of professional grooming experience.
• Proficiency with grooming various dog breeds and cats where relevant.
• Ability to perform a broad range of grooming services.
• Possess entrepreneurial motivation to grow clientele and provide personalized care.
