Overview
Toloka connects detail-oriented people from around the world with freelance online assignments that help train and refine artificial intelligence systems.
Through Toloka Annotators, contributors take part in Generative AI projects created by major technology companies. The purpose of this work is to involve real people in improving how AI learns, reasons, and responds.
Role Summary
As an annotator, you may be asked to join online tasks such as reviewing AI-generated outputs, checking whether information is accurate, or comparing different responses. These assignments are offered only when relevant projects are available.
What You Will Do
- Examine supplied content carefully, including text, images, and videos.
- Apply labels or categories according to the instructions for each project.
- Spot and report content that is wrong, sensitive, unsuitable, or difficult to understand.
Work Model
This is project-based freelance work, so assignments are not continuous. You may be selected for one or several projects depending on your profile and what is currently open.
Compensation varies by project based on its scope and the expertise required. For this opportunity, the pay can reach the equivalent of $18 per hour.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 1 year of experience in any professional position.
- Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above, for both written and spoken communication.

- Clear communication skills, including asking for clarification when needed.
