Key Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely in and around construction sites using hand signals and paddles
• Set up traffic control devices such as flags, cones, signs, and markers
• Assist with general construction tasks as assigned by supervisors or foremen
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices and company policies
• Comply with local, state, and federal Department of Transportation regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform duties in various weather conditions
• Undertake additional tasks as required

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for this employer
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or have equivalent work experience
• Hold a valid state driver’s license (no provisional licenses) with a satisfactory driving record
• Prior experience in flagging is preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Frequently work alone in isolated areas and operate vehicles
• Engage in physical activities such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting 10 to 25 pounds
• Use fine motor skills and computer peripherals like keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally lift weights from 26 to 55 pounds and work with arms raised above shoulder level
