Role Overview

As a Field Technician based in Ireland, you will have a crucial role in implementing the Television Audience Measurement service starting January 2028. Fifty5Blue is assembling a new panel to track TV consumption across Ireland using cutting-edge metering equipment and backend systems for delivering accurate daily industry data. This permanent position involves travel to panellist homes for equipment installation, maintenance, and remote work from home as needed. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work permanently in Ireland, requiring no visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain TV, broadband, and software metering devices in panellist residences.
• Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring a positive experience for panel members.
• Instruct panellists on proper use and upkeep of metering equipment.
• Coordinate with operational teams to meet service level agreements and project timelines.
• Troubleshoot any technical or operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with the Panel Service team to optimize support for panellists.
• Record and report all panel home activities accurately.
• Help maintain correct inventory of metering devices as part of the operations team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with internal teams and panellists.

• Good team player willing to support colleagues.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Basic understanding of TV and related technology is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience in domestic environments is preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally within the Republic of Ireland using a company vehicle.
• Possession of a valid driving license with fewer than 6 points.
• Completion of criminal records check (C.R.B) required.
• Availability for some weekend work as necessary.
