We are enhancing our team in Nairobi, Kenya by hiring a Machine Operator who will contribute to the company's growth by efficiently meeting daily production outputs while adhering to group and local guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery by following standard operating procedures to ensure safe and productive manufacturing.
• Relay routine observations, information, and issues to supervisors and team members clearly and promptly.
• Comply fully with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations as well as internal company policies.
• Participate in mandatory safety trainings and initiatives aimed at maintaining a secure workplace.
• Conduct quick risk assessments before beginning work by identifying, evaluating, and documenting potential hazards.
• Maintain product quality and align work methods with company food safety and quality standards.
• Support additional operational tasks as directed by the Operations Director to ensure smooth workflow.

Expectations and Work Standards

• Operate with minimal complexity focusing on one primary parameter adjustment per workstation.
• Take ownership of personal learning and growth plans, promoting the company's culture and values.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and company HSE requirements and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the working environment.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment based on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to food safety agreements, personal hygiene standards, and timely completion of safety training.
• Support shift handovers ensuring smooth operational continuity.
• Assist with equipment start-up, changeovers, monitoring, and escalate technical problems according to procedures.
• Operate cost-effectively within assigned area while maintaining productivity standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of High School Certificate (KCSE) or equivalent.
• Able to follow instructions and repeat routine tasks reliably based on brief explanations.
• Must hold a valid forklift driving license.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards, and performing repetitive operational duties with consistency.
