About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least five years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, or Account Management within environmental consultancy, testing, or services sectors.
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and expanding customer bases.
- Thorough understanding of environmental testing standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management capabilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Established professional network within Ireland’s environmental industry.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and commercially strategic mindset.
- Knowledge of public procurement and tendering processes is a plus.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Background in science or awareness of environmental analysis techniques.
- Existing connections with Irish local authorities, water and fuel companies, and consulting firms.
- Experience serving clients across diverse environmental testing areas.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland and conduct site visits.
Educational Background and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in sales related to environmental testing, consultancy, or laboratory services.
- Successful record in acquiring clients and fostering enduring partnerships.
- Preferably experience operating in the Irish market.
- Residence in or near Galway with flexibility for occasional remote work.
- Availability to travel frequently within Ireland and commute to the Galway site.
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and confidence presenting to senior decision-makers.
- Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation access.
- Commitment to attending weekly in-office meetings.
