Required Qualifications and Skills

At least five years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, or Account Management within environmental consultancy, testing, or services sectors.
Proven track record in meeting sales targets and expanding customer bases.
Thorough understanding of environmental testing standards, procedures, and regulations.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management capabilities.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
Established professional network within Ireland’s environmental industry.
Proactive, results-oriented, and commercially strategic mindset.
Knowledge of public procurement and tendering processes is a plus.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Background in science or awareness of environmental analysis techniques.
Existing connections with Irish local authorities, water and fuel companies, and consulting firms.
Experience serving clients across diverse environmental testing areas.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland and conduct site visits.

Educational Background and Other Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or related field.
Minimum five years of experience in sales related to environmental testing, consultancy, or laboratory services.
Successful record in acquiring clients and fostering enduring partnerships.
Preferably experience operating in the Irish market.
Residence in or near Galway with flexibility for occasional remote work.
Availability to travel frequently within Ireland and commute to the Galway site.
Professional demeanor, excellent communication, and confidence presenting to senior decision-makers.
Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation access.
Commitment to attending weekly in-office meetings.
