Role Summary

The position is responsible for delivering workshop services as planned, involving machining, valve and PSV repairs and calibrations, providing onsite machining support, coordinating machining activities with external vendors, and managing mechanical equipment overhauling to ensure efficient operations while complying with legal and organizational policies.

  • Provide workshop services including machining, safety valve testing and seal lapping; coordinate rotor balancing activities.
  • Perform hot tapping operations to support continuous plant functioning.
  • Support job inspections ensuring quality as per Quality Assurance Plans; oversee safety valve testing on workshop test benches.
  • Prepare compliance audit documentation and support adherence to statutory, CSM and HSE requirements including mandatory trainings.
  • Maintain repair and testing records, MIS, and reports timely in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology is mandatory.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in industrial or mechanical workshop maintenance is required, with approximately 2 years practical field experience preferred.
