Digital HR Analyst

Role Overview

The Digital HR Analyst at McCain Foods is responsible for supporting the design, configuration, testing, and ongoing optimization of HR technology systems. This includes hands-on system implementation and close collaboration with technology teams to ensure HR requirements are accurately represented and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver sustainable technical solutions aligned with HR strategies by addressing HR-related challenges across systems, processes, and personnel.
• Accurately configure and maintain HR platforms, managing settings, core data, workflows, and security roles.
• Act as a primary escalation contact for complex system troubleshooting in cooperation with IT and external vendors to diagnose and resolve root issues.
• Oversee the complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, including script creation, test coordination, result validation, risk mitigation, and identification of change impacts affecting communication or training.
• Recognize automation opportunities within HR workflows and assist in designing and testing automated process logic.
• Support smooth deployment of system releases, manage impact assessments, provide recommendations, and aid in change management.
• Configure and maintain role-based access controls in adherence to governance policies and enterprise security standards.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, job aids, and user guides to ensure accessible and accurate HR technology information.
• Contribute to digital training initiatives by developing content and assisting HR staff with technology usage.
• Provide expert advice on system capabilities and constraints during strategic initiatives and facilitate collaborative sessions for requirements gathering and problem resolution.
• Represent HR digitally as a subject matter expert in process improvements and technological enhancements.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in HR technology or business analysis roles.
• Certification in one or more key HR platforms such as UKG Workforce Pro, ServiceNow, Phenom, or SuccessFactors.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR processes, including employee lifecycle, onboarding, timekeeping, talent management, and performance evaluation.
• Proven expertise in managing change impacts resulting from technology redesigns.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause identification and delivering durable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• Experience managing enhancements through stages including requirements gathering, design blueprinting, configuration, unit and user acceptance testing, change management, deployment, and operation.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in agile methodologies, including sprint execution.
• Familiarity with Agile tools for work tracking.

• Seamless deployment of system changes with minimal post-release issues, due to comprehensive validation aligned with business needs.
• Reduction in recurring system issues by addressing root problems effectively.
• Efficient and well-documented UAT cycles that minimize rework and production disruptions.

• Current and detailed SOPs, test scripts, and configuration records that minimize knowledge gaps and streamline operations.
