About the Role

Valnet seeks a Data Scientist to join the Gaming team in Montreal, focusing on designing and launching AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and growth for a major digital publishing firm. This position emphasizes implementation over research; your AI systems will directly impact business performance and be actively used.

Responsibilities

Create and implement AI agents to streamline workflows and improve scalability.
Integrate AI agents into existing frameworks, minimizing manual tasks and boosting overall system effectiveness.
Develop rapid prototypes, validate them, and deploy robust production-ready AI systems.
Analyze performance through key efficiency and revenue indicators to assess impact.
Refine and evolve solutions by leveraging live data analytics and user feedback.

Requirements

Between 1 to 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered products or systems.
Demonstrable track record of successfully shipping products, systems, startups, or internal tools.
Strong expertise in large language models (LLMs), agent frameworks, automation pipelines, and practical AI applications.
Proven ability to swiftly progress from conceptualization to minimum viable product and production deployment.
Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and thriving in uncertainty.
Execution-focused mindset with emphasis on achieving measurable results.
Experience in digital media, growth strategies, or performance-based settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
