About the Role

Valnet seeks a Data Scientist to join the Gaming team in Montreal, focusing on designing and launching AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and growth for a major digital publishing firm. This position emphasizes implementation over research; your AI systems will directly impact business performance and be actively used.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement AI agents to streamline workflows and improve scalability.
• Integrate AI agents into existing frameworks, minimizing manual tasks and boosting overall system effectiveness.
• Develop rapid prototypes, validate them, and deploy robust production-ready AI systems.
• Analyze performance through key efficiency and revenue indicators to assess impact.
• Refine and evolve solutions by leveraging live data analytics and user feedback.

Requirements

• Between 1 to 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered products or systems.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully shipping products, systems, startups, or internal tools.
• Strong expertise in large language models (LLMs), agent frameworks, automation pipelines, and practical AI applications.
• Proven ability to swiftly progress from conceptualization to minimum viable product and production deployment.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and thriving in uncertainty.
• Execution-focused mindset with emphasis on achieving measurable results.
• Experience in digital media, growth strategies, or performance-based settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
